Ingredients:
Fresh Shelled Peas
Finely Chopped Onions
OIive Oil
Salt & Pepper
Small Shell Pasta
Grated Cheese
Plain Pasta Sause (optional)
Steam the fresh shelled peas until they are tender.
Saute the finely chopped onions in olive oil until they are very tender.
Combine the peas with the onions and saute for a few minutes. Salt and pepper to tase.
Cook small shell pasta until al dente as you like.
Toss drained pasta with pea/onion mixture and serve topped with grated cheese.
You almost get one pea in each shell. Enjoy!
(For a little variation, toss with a little plain pasta sauce.)
