Silicon Valley housing market improving

SILICON VALLEY -- Housing in Silicon Valley appears to be on the rebound.

New data out this week from the California Association of Realtors shows Silicon Valley is home to four of the state's 10 most expensive real estate markets.

Los Altos came in first, with a median home price of $1.5 million. That was followed by Palo Alto, Los Gatos and Cupertino.

The association singled out Cupertino and Morgan Hill in its latest report, as both cities experienced double-digit percentage gains in their median home prices -- at 38 percent and 33 percent, respectively.
