Home prices, sales volume pick up across Silicon Valley
SANTA CLARA COUNTY -- A new report has positive news about the local real estate market.
The median price for a Santa Clara County resale home was up almost 10 percent in November compared to the same period in 2008, according to market research firm MDA DataQuick.
This marks the second month in a row that prices have risen when compared to 2008.
The number of homes sold in the county also increased in November compared to last year by more than 47 percent.
