LOS ALTOS -- For the fourth time, a judge has ruled against a lawsuit brought by supporters of a Los Altos charter school over shared facilities. The suit, filed by the Bullis Charter School, contends the Los Altos School District did not provide adequate facilities under state law.
A Santa Clara County Superior Court judge ruled in favor of the school district, stating Gardner-Bullis Elementary School had enough specialized teaching space for grades K - 6 at the charter school, adding the district had the legal right not to offer the school's seventh grade facilities at that location this year.
District officials say the repeated lawsuits waste tax payer dollars.
