SANTA CLARA -- A draft environmental impact report has been released on Sunnyvale-based Yahoo's plans to build a massive campus on 46 acres near Great America Parkway and Tasman Drive in Santa Clara.
Traffic and carbon emissions are the biggest impacts identified in the report, which says the project would produce an increase in daily emissions that would exceed established thresholds.
The report also says the campus would exacerbate the existing jobs/housing imbalance in Santa Clara. If the 3-million square-foot campus is approved, Yahoo says it has no timeline for actually building it.
