SAN JOSE -- More than two-thirds of the people living in San Jose approve of the job Mayor Chuck Reed is doing.
The Survey and Policy Research Institute at San Jose State University poll found that overall, 67 percent of the respondents approve of the job Chuck Reed is doing while 14 percent disapprove.
Among self-identified liberals, the mayor has an approval rating of 60 percent, moderates at 79 percent and 65 percent among conservatives.
The telephone survey of 765 people was done between Sept. 29 and Oct. 7.
