PALO ALTO -- Fire officials are still looking into a fatal residential fire in Palo Alto. One woman was found dead in the two alarm structure fire on Addison Avenue, and investigators are still trying to determine the origin and cause of the blaze.
Palo Alto police have teamed up with Santa Clara County Fire officials to scour the scene for clues. Police say the victim has not yet been identified, but was reportedly a renter in the home, the owner lived on another part of the property.
Authorities say it is too soon to determine whether the death or fire are suspicous. The blaze broke out around 6:45pm Thursday evening and was contained in 15 minutes.
