LOS ALTOS -- Police are searching for a man suspected of robbing a bank in Los Altos Friday afternoon. The suspect reportedly went into the Wells Fargo branch in the 4500 block of El Camino Real around 2pm, told a teller he had a gun and demanded money.
He left out the back door with an undisclosed amount of money, but some of it fell out of the bag and left a trail. Investigators used a police dog to try to find the suspect, but were unsuccessful.
He was described as being 6' 4" and weighing between 240 and 260 pounds. No one was injured in the incident.
