SARATOGA - Three Silicon Valley mayors have asked for help in finding out the identity of the driver who injured two cyclists on Highway 9 last month. A press release by the mayors of Los Gatos, Saratoga, and Monte Sereno say the three communities are working to make the highway safer.
24-year-old Ashleigh Jackson is recovering injuries she received after being struck by someone driving a silver BMW near Fruitvale Avenue in Saratoga on April 19th. She continues to be treated at Valley Medical Center in San Jose.
Her boyfriend David Nelson suffered from minor injuries in the incident.
