OVERTURNED TRUCK CREATES MAJOR TRAFFIC TIE-UP
Sunnyvale - A big-rig carrying vodka overturned on southbound Highway 101 in Sunnyvale this morning, snarling traffic for morning commuters.
The crash happened before 8am at the Mathilda Avenue offramp, and a second car slammed into the back of the truck.
Sunnyvale police spokesperson John Pilger says the driver was trapped, and firefighters were working to clean up the alcohol before it ignited.
The lanes of traffic were all re-opened by 12pm.
