SAN JOSE - There have been more layoffs at a San Jose media outlet.
NBC 11 confirms that the television station eliminated eight jobs from its newsroom last week, including reporters and other members of its news staff.
An NBC Spokesperson says the cuts are partially due to economic conditions, but also due to changing business conditions within the television industry as more viewers seek news online.
The station says the job cuts represent less than 5% of the stations news staff.
