Shawn Murphy - Weekday Morning Editor, ReporterShawn is the weekday morning news editor at 1590 KLIV. He has called the Silicon Valley home for the last 9 years.
Shawn graduated from San Jose State University with a degree in Radio-Television and Film. Before joining 1590 KLIV Shawn served 4 years in the US Army, spending over 2 years in Iraq and Korea.
Shawn served as the Sports Director of 90.5 KSJS at San Jose State and worked as a sports broadcaster and media relations assistant for San Jose State Athletics.
At television station KICU, he was the Technical Director of "Q&A with Roy Avila." When he's not broadcasting, Shawn enjoys spending time with his wife of 4 years, Erin.
