MAN FOUND GUILTY OF OF BRING TEEN TO U.S. FOR SEX

Santa Clara - A Santa Clara man is heading to jail after a jury convicted of him of taking a teenager from the Azores to the US for sex.
John Diniz had promised the 16-year-old that if he had sex with him in Portugal, he would bring the teen to the US to see his older brother.
Once the teen was brought to Santa Clara, he refused to have any more sex with Diniz.
The 58-year-old faces a maximum sentence of 30 years in prison and a $250,000 fine. |
