San Jose - There are more job postings per capita in San Jose than any other city in America. That's according to the job search site Indeed.com.
The latest figures are from 2007 but found 177 jobs listed per population of 1,000 people. That placed San Jose above second-ranked Washington D.C. with a 152 per thousand. Hartford, Milwaukee and Boston rounded out the top ten.
By comparison, those looking for work in Rochester, New York have only 29 job postings per thousand to look through. Indeed.com said most of the San Jose jobs were in the tech industry as you would expect.
