Santa Clara-based Intel had reassuring words for investors, saying it was optimistic that antitrust regulators in Europe would ultimately rule in favor of the company.
Intel is facing allegations from smaller rival Advanced Micro Devices that the company is squeezing AMD out of the European market.
Intel put out a statement saying competition is healthy for the market, and is driving down computer prices across the continent.
