 Sean Micheal Lisle - Weekdays - 2 PM to 4 PM
Sean Michael Lisle is a reporter and announcer at 1590 KLIV. A veteran broadcaster, Sean was raised in San Jose before spending much of his broadcasting career working across most of the western states where he filled a variety of roles from operations manager to on-air personality.
A few years ago, Sean decided to focus on news. He became News Director at news/talk station KERN in Bakersfield. There he was able to have access to many state and national newsmakers.
Sean returned home to San Jose in the summer of 2007 to join the team at 1590 KLIV. Ironically KLIV is the station he grew up listening to. In fact, it was none other than News and Program Director George Sampson who came to Santa Teresa High School on career day when Sean was a sophomore to speak about careers in broadcasting.
Sean’s wife Candice is a graduate of San Jose’s James Lick High School. Sean attended broadcasting school in Hollywood and Candice is a graduate of New Mexico State University. Sean lives in downtown San Jose and enjoys the vibrant lifestyle of the area. Sean is a self-described “ big sports fans, especially soccer” and looks forward to the return of the Earthquakes. He also enjoys Spartan football.
