Bud Kelly is 1590 KLIV’s “Announcer Emeritus” and is a broadcasting veteran who has done every job from morning DJ on CBS, radio and tv play-by-play sports announcing and sports director of a major Chicago radio station. His rich, deep voice is also heard as stadium announcer for the annual Siebel Open tennis tournament at San Jose’s HP Pavilion. Bud’s association with news, covers a few decades from Boston, through Chicago and here to San Jose.
Fortunately for San Jose, Bud chose to make his home here where he brings his considerable professional experience to 1590 KLIV. You can hear Bud weekday mornings from 9am to 12noon. Be warned, Bud’s voice is positively mesmerizing! |
