BLIMPS COMING CLOSER TO MOFFETT FIELD

Mountain View - The plan to bring blimps to Moffett Field took a step closer to getting off the ground last week.
Mountain View-based Airship Ventures, the company behind the plan, closed $8 million in Round A funding from six investors.
The company plans to use the money to buy a blimp from a German company and fly it on tourist trips around the Bay Area and Napa later this year. |
